SANDER COERS

Sander Coers is a young artist working with photography based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, whose work verges on the border of documentary and fiction.

JAN TIMMERS

Jan Timmers is a visual artist from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Through the art of painting, he attempts to confront and to evoke emotion.

ART ISLAND

Yellow Gallery attends Art Island with the exposition 'Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain' with Rick van der Klooster, Joris Veltman, Olphaert den Otter & Jildau Nijboer

With an atmosphere as charged as the landscapes it examines, Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain is a poetic confrontation with the illusion of permanence. Staged on
Forteiland IJmuiden—a 19th-century military fort surrounded by sea and shrouded in myth— the exhibition probes the emotional and ideological weight we attach to mountains, clouds, and climate.

RONALD ZUURMOND & MARINKA REUTEN

Group exhibition april 2025 with old master Floris Verster next to contemporary artists: Tosja van Lieshout, Anne van As en Sara van Vliet.

The exhibition YOU WANT IT DARKER at Yellow Gallery recontextualizes Verster’s oeuvre within a contemporary framework. Here, his fascination with darkness and decay is connected to the work of modern artists, fostering a dialogue about the role of light, shadow, and emotion in still lifes and nature painting.
